Biography
Namaste (Hindu Word)
The spirit in me, honors the spirit in you
After 31 wonderful years as a Leader, Manager, Facilitator and Coach in IBM Global Services I retired to start a new career as a Executive and Business Development Coach.
I received my coaching training and certification through the internationally esteemed Coaches Training Institute in 2004 and earned my coaching credential from the International Coaching Federation in 2005.
In 2005 I completed advanced training in Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching from The Center for Right Relationship and I am currently enrolled in a certification program which should complete in July 2008. I hold a certification in the Team Diagnostic Tool from Team Coaching International and I am an authorized facilitator for 5 Dynamics.
Weaving my business leadership background with extensive experience in coaching, training and team facilitation enables me to offer my clients a powerful facilitation style that motivates and inspires participants into action.
My passion is inspiring individuals to bring forth their uniqueness for the benefit of the relationship, team or community. What I love about this work is watching relationships and teams create an environment of trust, support and collaboration to collectively reach their highest potential.
On the personal side, I love hiking, reading, meditation and ritual. From my study in many of the nature traditions, I honor life’s passages through ritual and create rituals for life changing events and transitions. I have a deep love for Buddhist philosophy and enjoy soul-energizing retreats in the hills of Woodacre, California at Spirit Rock.
I am a member of International Coaching Federation and Membership Chair for East Bay Coaches. I have volunteered at Zen Hospice in San Francisco, SF Aids Foundation, Project Open Hand and as an assistant for the Human Awareness Institute (HAI).
I am happily married (over 20 years!) and find joy with my husband and with my many friends and colleagues.
